PENGARUH KOMPENSASI TERHADAP KINERJA PEGAWAI KANTOR KEMENTERIAN AGAMA KOTA SAMARINDA

This study aims to identify, explain, and examine compensation for the performance of employees of the Office of the Ministry of Religion, City of Samarinda. The sample number in this study was 69 employees with a saturated sampling technique. The research method used in this study is quantitative. The dependent variable (Y) in this study is employee performance, and the variable (X) in this study is compensation. This study's data analysis method used simple linear regression, while data processing used the IBM SPSS V program. The results of this study indicate that partially the compensation variable does not affect employee performance as seen from the results of testing the t value Count (0.988) is smaller than t Table (1.670), so it can be concluded that H0 is accepted, and Ha is rejected, which means "There is no effect of compensation (X) on the performance of employees of the Ministry of Religion of Samarinda City (Y)." This study's results align with research conducted by Rianda & Winarno (2022) and Mundakir & Zainuri (2018) showed that compensation does not affect employee performance. The size of the compensation received does not affect performance. This is because employees work not only to seek compensation
