Repair and equalization the quality of education is a very difficult thing for the government in developing the world of education in Indonesia. The government continues to make improvements through regular progress, one of which is improving the education curriculum by introducing an independent curriculum. This educational curriculum is expected to be a solution to the problem of students' low basic literacy and numeracy skills and will be implemented thoroughly at all school levels in 2024. Changes to the education curriculum expect teachers to change their competencies, especially pedagogical competencies. Through the research method of reviewing the literature review that was carried out in 2020-2022, researchers identify what pedagogical abilities educators need to improve in ideally implementing the independent curriculum. The results of the study show that the pedagogic abilities that must be improved by educators include understanding the constructivism learning hypothesis, the ability to create and determine approaches for Pancasila student profile projects and the use of developmental assessments more broadly in learning assessment.
