DAMPAK PANDEMI TERHADAP EKONOMI KOS-KOSAN DI SEKITAR KAMPUS UNTIRTA

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and assess the extent of the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak on boarding houses around Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University – Untirta, Serang City. This study used a qualitative descriptive method, with information collected from informants as the primary source selected using the snowball sampling technique. This research was conducted by observing, interviewing, and documenting, which was carried out from March to June 2021. All information and data that had been collected were then processed and analyzed to conclude. Following up on research findings, it is known that the Covid-19 pandemic has impacted the boarding house business. In particular, there has been a decrease in the number of tenants living in boarding houses, resulting in a decrease in the income of boarding house owners and a decrease in rental costs for boarding houses around the Untirta campus, Serang City.
