Abstract

One of the educational problems that has become a priority to find a solution to immediately is the problem of the quality of education, especially the quality of learning. To improve the quality of learning, a qualified teacher is needed. A teacher must have basic skills as a professionalization of his duties. There are ten basic professional teacher abilities, namely: 1) Mastering Materials, 2) Managing Teaching and Learning Programs, 3) Managing Classes, 4) Using media sources, 5) Mastering Educational Foundations, 6) Managing Teaching and Learning Interactions, 7) Assessing Student achievement for teaching purposes, 8) Recognize the Functions and Guidance and Counseling Service Programs, 9) Recognize and organize school administration, and 10) Understand the principles and interpret the results of educational research for teaching purposes. Learning methods are needed to determine the patterns and concepts of the basic principles in the implementation of learning in the classroom. Student Centered Learning and Implementation of the Pancasila Profile Strengthening Project is learning that focuses on learning activities for students.
